Dexter Season Five Showing In September 2010. This Is Going To Be The Greatest Series!
The New season of Dexter begins in September 2010. In the last season, our hero departed from his role of family man after the amazing events of the final episode of that series. It is no overstatement to state that the final episode was perhaps the greatest hour of TV from the last two years. At the risk of spoiling the ending for the people who did not see it, Dexter will move into the role of guilty parent in series five, while being under more intense pressure than in all prior seasons. What can our hero expect in the next 12 shows? Michael C Hall, who stars as Dexter has said that the story will come to an end somehow, but how? Will Dexter die? Will he give up his urges? Will his co-workers find out who he really is?
Meanwhile, what will happen with Dexter's House? He could carry on living in the house in Dexter season five, but alternatively he may move back into his apartment. But this begs the question of what will happen to the children, and where they are going to live. To keep his space Dexter would need to keep them occupied somehow. Perhaps a new woman will enter the picture. For a guy who doesn't enjoy, Dexter seems to do okay with the ladies, so this is not hard to imagine.
Of course the most important aspect will be Dexter's pressure at work. The FBI have control over the Trinity files, and it is only a matter of time before they speak to Trinity's wife and children and find out about Kyle Butler. Then when the family give a description it is bound to look like our hero. How will Dexter be able to explain knowing Trinity and his children before the police learned Trinity's identity?
Quinn was beginning to look like he was suspicious of Dexter in the last series. That story arc could easily develop in Dexter season five. Quinn is not in Doakes' league, but like Doakes he's the only person in the the station who sees anything strange in Dexter. Will Quinn discover the real Dexter? And if he did, what would happen? Quinn does not fit the code, but Dexter has been known to deviate from it. And maybe if Quinn did learn the whole truth, he might not be so reproachful of it, as he doesn't always play by the rules himself.
